Last Saturday was the day of the Partner in the Port of Catarroja.
The most anticipated test. And in the evening, the brotherhood dinner. All the enthusiasm, the work, the preparations of the Board and the collaborating partners were ruined by the strong wind, which suspended the exhibition in the morning, filling the dinner evening with sad shadows.
Things are not always as planned. Also in the Albufera area, Latin sailing sets its own guidelines, it has its times. Accepting them is the wisdom that will teach us to follow with the same enthusiasm until the next test, scheduled for Saturday, July 13th.
Perhaps we can celebrate it by forgetting this disappointment. Or we may have to wait until September to see what happens on Fishermen's Day at the rod show. But our colleagues from other ports in the Albufera will always be there, waiting for us to take part in their tests.
