For the first time the Generalitat participated in the Latin sailing activities in the Albufera.

First exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports, organized by the Valencian Cultural Federation of Latin Sailing, with departure and arrival at the port of Silla. We were accompanied by the Director General of Sports, Josep Miquel Moya; the director of the Schools of the Sea, Diana Saura; the Vice-President of the Sailing Federation, Rafael Chirivella; the mayor of Catarroja, Jesús Monzó and the mayor of Catadau, Héctor Roig.

Protagonists, the east wind and the sun. The gentle breeze that helped the boats in the Passadís de l'Antina turned into strong gusts when they arrived at Mansseguerota, and the last turn to get wet made the difference. It was a new day of emotions on the waters of the Albufera.Catarroja it was represented by twelve boats, among which the barque Lleveig, La Pescaora, and La Garceta stood out.
